4-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole (TMDTP) is a novel compound synthesized from the reaction of 4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl bromide and 3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole. TMDTP has been studied for its potential applications in scientific research, and its mechanism of action, biochemical and physiological effects, advantages and limitations for lab experiments, and future directions are still being explored. 
 

Scientific Research Applications

 

  • Synthesis and Characterization :
    • Liao et al. (2022) conducted a study on the synthesis and characterization of a similar compound, using 4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole as a raw material. They confirmed the compound's structure through various spectroscopic methods and X-ray diffraction. DFT (Density Functional Theory) calculations were performed to determine the molecular structure, which showed consistency with X-ray diffraction results (Liao et al., 2022).
    • Yang et al. (2021) synthesized 1-(2-Bromobenzyl)-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole. The compound's structure was confirmed by spectroscopic techniques, and its molecular structure was further analyzed using DFT, showing alignment with the crystal structure from X-ray diffraction (Yang et al., 2021).
  • Intermediates in Synthesis of Biologically Active Compounds :
    • Kong et al. (2016) highlighted the significance of a derivative of this compound as an important intermediate in the synthesis of biologically active compounds like crizotinib. They synthesized a related compound and confirmed its structure using MS and 1H NMR spectrum (Kong et al., 2016).
  • Application in Polymer Chemistry and Materials Science :
    • Bethel et al. (2012) developed an improved synthesis of 3-(hetero)aryl pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridines, which includes a novel boronic ester closely related to the compound . This synthesis method is applicable to both high-throughput chemistry and large-scale synthesis of medicinally important compounds (Bethel et al., 2012).
