Scientific Research Applications

 

  • Building Block for Synthesis

    It's a promising building block for the efficient synthesis of 2-acylamino-2-trifluoromethylethanol (Tanaka, Ishiguro, & Mitsuhashi, 1993).

  • N-trifluoroethylation of Anilines

    Iron porphyrin-catalyzed N-trifluoroethylation of anilines with 2,2,2-trifluoroethylamine hydrochloride in aqueous solution provides a wide range of N-trifluoroethylated anilines in good yield (Ren et al., 2021).

  • Synthesis of Fluorinated Aroxysulfonyl Ureas

    Addition of 2,2,2-trifluoroethylamine in toluene and F-alkylamines without solvent to aroxysulfonyl isocyanates effectively prepares fluorinated aroxysulfonyl ureas with high yields (Kateb, Beji, & Baklouti, 1999).

  • Diastereoselective Synthesis

    Diastereoselective synthesis of 1-aryl-2,2,2-trifluoroethylamines using 2-methyl-N-(2,2,2-trifluoroethylidene)propane-2-sulfinamide enables the synthesis (Truong, Ménard, & Dion, 2007).

  • Perovskite Solar Cells

    Fluoroethylamine passivation in perovskite solar cells improves efficiency and stability, achieving up to 23.40% efficiency and 87% initial efficiency after 1200 hours of exposure (Su et al., 2021).
